Himachal News: Education Department and Law Department Will Make New Policy For Transfers of SMC and Computer Teachers

- Himachal News: Four Thousand SMC And Computer Teachers Will Also Be Transferred, Government Busy In Making Policy.
About four thousand SMC and computer teachers working in government schools of Himachal Pradesh will also be transferred. Himachal government has started making a new policy for transfers of SMC and computer teachers. SMC and Computer Teachers have been providing their teaching services in the inaccessible and remote areas of Himachal Pradesh for many years.
If officials of the Education Department are to be believed, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu may announce a new policy for transfers of SMC and computer teachers in the upcoming budget speech. To resolve the demands of SMC and computer teachers, Himachal Government has also constituted a Cabinet Sub Committee under the chairmanship of Education Minister Rohit Thakur in the Cabinet meeting. PWD Minister Vikramaditya Singh and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh have been appointed members of the Cabinet Sub Committee.
Recently, a meeting of the Cabinet Sub Committee was held in Shimla under the chairmanship of Education Minister Rohit Thakur. Cabinet Sub Committee is going to hold its second meeting soon and submit report to Himachal Government.
Himachal government will soon decide the future of SMC and computer teachers –
According to Education Department officials, Himachal Government is brainstorming on the instructions of the Supreme Court and Himachal High Court regarding regularization of SMC and computer teachers. Education Department is also discussing new policy of SMC and computer teachers with Himachal Law Department.
If it takes more time to complete the entire process, then Himachal government can soon take a decision regarding the transfers of SMC and computer teachers in upcoming budget session. SMC and computer teachers have been given appointments in such areas of state, where regular teachers were reluctant to go. In such a situation, some SMC and computer teachers are still forced to provide services many kilometers away from their homes.
