Dr. Rakesh Pratap Takes Charge As New CMO of Shimla

Let us tell you that Dr. Rakesh Pratap was earlier posted as Block Medical Officer in Mashobra. As a result of recent promotion, Dr. Rakesh Pratap has been appointed CMO of District Shimla in view of his experience and remarkable work done while holding various posts in the health department.
Dr. Rakesh Pratap is originally from Solan. In the year 1993, he had joined the Health Department as a doctor and after providing excellent services in various hospitals of the department, Dr. Rakesh Pratap has given commendable services as BMO in Karsog and Mashobra, which is being praised all around.

After taking charge, Dr. Rakesh Pratap said that his top priority will be to provide excellent and qualitative medical services to the people at their doorstep in all the health institutions of Shimla district. He said that there is a shortage of staff in health institutions but efforts will be made to provide the best medical services to the people by managing the available staff and facilities.
Apart from this, various national programs being run by the Health Department will also be implemented in the right perspective. Dr. Rakesh Pratap said that the matter will be taken up with higher officials to fill the vacant posts of doctors and other paramedical staff in the health institutions of the Shimla district.
