Investigation has been started by the teams of Special Cell of Himachal Pradesh Police in the entire matter of sending e-mail to Director General (DGP) of Himachal Pradesh Police, Dr. Sanjay Kundu.
Palampur businessman Nishant, who sent the e-mail, has leveled allegations against DGP Dr Sanjay Kundu.
On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police Dr. Sanjay Kundu has lodged an FIR under Chhota Shimla police station of the capital Shimla against businessman Nishant, who described him as a threat to his reputation. A defamation case has also been registered against Nishant.
It is being told that the complete e-mail information and copy of the e-mail sent by Palampur accused businessman Nishant to DGP Dr. Sanjay Kundu has also been mentioned in the FIR.
Also, businessman Nishant has sent a copy of the e-mail to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Himachal Pradesh Chief State Home Secretary, demanding an investigation into the entire matter.

The entire investigation revealed that on October 29, an e-mail was sent to the official ID of DGP Dr. Sanjay Kundu. The deadly attack on businessman Nishant Sharma in Gurugram on 25th August over a mail sent to an official e-mail ID has also been mentioned in the e-mail.
Due to which full charges have been leveled against two people from Himachal Pradesh, due to which the accused businessman Nishant Sharma has been declared the main power broker of Himachal Pradesh.
On the other hand, it has been said that the e-mail has been sent to DGP Dr. Sanjay Kundu under Nishant Sharma, son of Kamlesh Kumar Sharma, main resident of Sai Garden, Palampur of Kangra district.
Businessman Nishant Sharma has alleged that a chief officer of Himachal Pradesh Police is calling him to the capital Shimla threatening him.
Information regarding the entire matter has also been sent to Honorable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Chief Home Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Police.
Businessman Nishant Sharma has alleged that he and all his family members are being continuously threatened with death. They have not even been informed about the FIR lodged against me under Chhota Shimla police station.

Also, after some time, SHO Palampur also sent a message on the phone of businessman Nishant Sharma on 27th October.
