Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Una, June 14 :The body of a 65-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances in Lohara village in the Amb subdivision of Una district in Himachal Pradesh.The body was recovered in a completely rotten state.The deceased has been identified by the Amb police station in-charge as Kulwant Singh, son of Bhuri Singh, resident of village Lohara.According to the villagers, the deceased Kulwant Singh was mentally disturbed, due to which Kulwant Singh had not returned home for the last one month.

The Amb police station in-charge took the body of the deceased Kulwant Singh in his custody in a rotten condition and after conducting the post-mortem at Tanda Medical College, handed over the body to the family. Along with this, the investigation has been started by the Amb police station in-charge and his team after registering the entire case.

The Amb police station in-charge said that on Thursday late evening, the body of Kulwant Singh was seen by the local people in a rotten state in a bunch of bamboos in the Shiv temple of Lohara village.

Immediately after that, the villagers informed the Amb police station in-charge and the family of Kulwant Singh about the entire case, after which the Amb police station in-charge and his team along with the family of the deceased reached the spot and identified the body.

Deceased Kulwant Singh’s brother Shiv Dev Singh told the Amb Police Station In-charge that on June 9, Kulwant Singh had gone towards Lohara village, then when he did not return and he was not found even after a lot of searching, he also lodged a missing report of Kulwant Singh with the Amb Police Station In-charge on June 13.

DSP Amb Vasudha Sood said that the entire case is being thoroughly investigated by the Amb Police Station In-charge.Only the postmortem report will reveal the real cause of death of deceased Kulwant Singh.
