Himachal News : Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has urged hoteliers and entrepreneurs to invest in the state. He was speaking as the chief guest at the India international hospitality expo in New Delhi.
He said that Himachal would emerge as the most preferred all-season tourist destination in the coming years and continuous efforts were being made for this.
The Chief Minister said that the state government is constantly making efforts to attract investment in five-star and seven-star hotels, health and wellness centers.
He also said that the government is also working towards further improvement in air connectivity services and helipad facilities will be made available in all the districts.
The Chief Minister said that the land acquisition process would be completed soon, apart from the works required to make Kangra airport a full-sized airport.
Earlier, he also inaugurated the Himachal pavilion during the expo. In this pavilion specially arranged Dham based on Himachali cuisine.
Vice President of Tourism Development Corporation RS Bali and Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena were also present during this.
