Shimla, July 07: A spokesperson of the Himachal Pradesh Youth Services and Sports Department said in capital shimla that the Himachal Pradesh government is encouraging sports culture and sports talents in the state. He informed that a cash prize money of Rs 65 lakh has been released for the medal winning players of Himachal Pradesh.

He informed that this amount has been released to 102 medal winning players of various national level sports competitions of Himachal Pradesh from the year 2018 to 22 January, 2022 for their sports achievements. This amount will be distributed by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer. He urged the eligible players to contact the Sports Officer of their respective district to receive the prize money.
