Shimla- Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil has said that the most important decision has been taken to build Kandaghat Tunnel of Himachal Pradesh on the lines of Atal Tunnel Rohtang Pass.
The Himachal Pradesh government has decided to four-lane the approximately twenty-three kilometer long national highway from Chambaghat to Kaithlighat.
An amount of approximately Rs 599 crore will be spent on four-laning the twenty-three kilometer national highway from Chambaghat to Kaithlighat.
Important meeting organized under the chairmanship of Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil –
Guidelines have been issued for the construction of the tunnel on the lines of Atal Tunnel Rohtang Pass in the second phase of four lane construction work from Chambaghat to Kaithlighat on Kalka-Shimla National Highway 5.
Instructions to build Kandaghat Tunnel on the lines of Atal Tunnel Rohtang Pass, Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Dr. Colonel Dhaniram Shandil issued special instructions to all the officials of the company doing the four-lane construction work.
Also, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil has issued instructions to complete the construction work of Chambaghat to Kaithlighat four lane on time.
Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh Government, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil issued the guidelines to the district administration in Kandaghat while holding a meeting with the officials of the National Highway Authority of India and the officials of the companies carrying out the four-lane construction work.
During the meeting, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil informed all the present officers that National Highway and four lane construction is being done in the long stretch of twenty three kilometers from Chambaghat to Kaithlighat. During this meeting, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil released the amount of Rs 599 crore to be spent for the construction of four lane and national highway from Chambaghat to Kaithlighat.
Along with this, Colonel Dhaniram Shandil also directed the officials for the construction work of eighteen bridges and one tunnel to be built between Chambaghat and Kaithlighat.
Besides, instructions have been issued to complete the entire tunnel construction work at a fast pace for the four-lane construction work in Kandaghat.
Besides, instructions were issued from time to time for sprinkling of water in the construction works of all four lanes and national highways, while on the other hand, instructions were given to all the local residents to avoid any kind of trouble These All Orders Issued by Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil.
Apart from this, Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil said that considering all the requirements, instructions were given to the company officials to construct small roads for the convenience of the villagers.
Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil said in the meeting that he directed the officials of the National Highway Authority and all the companies under construction to issue appropriate guidelines to prevent all the damages caused to the agricultural land and natural water sources during the four-lane construction work went done carefully.
Dr. Dhaniram Shandil has issued instructions to the company officials to construct five foot paths for all the people and their facilities from Solan district to Kaithlighat.
Also Colonel Dr. Dhaniram Shandil while directing all concerned officials said that instructions have been given for the construction of Baba Bhalku Gate at Kandaghat as soon as possible.
During the entire meeting, Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary Ramesh Thakur, Himachal Pradesh Block Congress Committee Solan President Sanjeev Thakur, former BDC member Ajay Verma, Project Sub Divisional Officer Kandaghat Siddharth Acharya and all other people were present in the meeting.
