The names of 43 candidates have been approved in the second list. At the same time, candidates have also been announced in two Lok Sabha constituencies of Himachal Pradesh, Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency and Shimla Lok Sabha constituency.

Anurag Thakur has been made the candidate for Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat. Suresh Kashyap name has been finalized from Shimla Lok Sabha seat. Both of them are currently MPs from their respective Lok Sabha constituencies.
