Shimla – Under the instructions issued by the Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department, all the sub-divisional officers have been entrusted with the responsibility of strictly implementing all these instructions.

Kanungo will be seen carrying out the on-site inspection process before releasing disaster relief funds to fully compensate for the losses caused by the natural calamity caused by the devastating rains, floods and landslides that hit entire Himachal Pradesh during the monsoon season, And will be seen handing over all the reports to the Tehsildar.

All the Patwaris of Himachal Pradesh will be seen making a map of the loss.

Also, relief amount will be released to the affected people on the recommendations of all the concerned Sub Divisional Officers of Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Principal Secretary Revenue has issued all types of notifications in this regard.

The map will be prepared for all the Patwaris of Himachal Pradesh as per the formats of Himachal Pradesh Land Records Manual 1993.

After preparing the report, the field officers will have to go to the spot and verify the damage and submit all the reports to the Tehsildar or Naib Tehsildar.

All the affected people of Himachal Pradesh will be sanctioned assistance as per the norms of assistance notified by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India through Himachal Pradesh SDRF and Himachal Pradesh NDRF.

Under all the guidelines issued by the Himachal Pradesh Revenue Department, the Sub Divisional Officers have been entrusted with the entire responsibility of strictly implementing all these instructions.

According to the special relief package in Himachal Pradesh, if the house is completely damaged, a relief amount of Rs 7 lakh, if the raw house is partially damaged, a relief amount of Rs 1 lakh, if the pucca house is partially damaged, a relief amount of Rs 1 lakh. Relief amount, relief amount of one lakh rupees on damage to shops and dhabas, relief amount of fifty thousand rupees on damage caused to cow sheds, as well as relief amount of fifty thousand rupees on damage to tenants’ belongings, milch animals and load.

Relief amount of Rs. 6,000 per animal for damage to all herding animals, disaster relief amount of Rs. 10,000 per bigha for loss of agriculture and horticulture land and Rs. 4,000 per bigha for complete compensation for damage to crops. Financial assistance amount of Rs 5,000 per bigha will be given by Himachal Pradesh government for disaster relief amount and removal of silt from agriculture and horticulture land.

All packages of disaster relief amount in Himachal Pradesh will be provided only from 24th June 2023 to 30th September 2023.
