Himachal News : Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad has decided to open a front against the state government against the decision to reduce the scope of Sardar Patel University in Mandi.
ABVP state minister Akash Negi said that this decision reflects the negative thinking of the present Congress government towards education and this decision is playing with the future of the students.
He said that around 141 colleges of five districts Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul Spiti come under this university. Akash Negi said that ABVP condemns this decision of the state government and if this anti-student decision is taken If it is not withdrawn immediately, the student organization will not hesitate to take to the streets.
He also said that ABVP will conduct a signature campaign against this decision in every college of the state from September 4 and protests will also be held on September 8.
