Una, July 02: A heartbreaking incident has come to light in which a 75-year-old woman was killed after being hit by the Sabarmati Express train running from Daulatpur Chowk in Una district of Himachal Pradesh.
The entire incident took place near Churudu railway station in Una district. Railway police reached the spot and took the body of the 75-year-old woman into custody and sent it to the regional hospital for postmortem. Railway police in-charge has registered a case and started investigation.

The Railway Police in-charge said that on Tuesday evening, Sabarmati Express was going from Daulatpur Chowk railway station to Churudu railway station. During this time, 75-year-old woman Kamala Devi came under the train due to unknown reasons. Due to which Kamala Devi was badly injured. Unable to bear the pain of the injuries, the elderly woman died on the spot. The deceased woman has been identified by the Railway Police in-charge as 75-year-old Kamla Devi wife of Dilip Chand resident of Seri Post Office Hamboli.
