Shimla- Complete preparations have been made to land seventy-two seater aircraft at Jubbarhatti Airport in Himachal Pradesh. Besides, the entire project to increase the length of the runway of Jubbarhatti Airport by three hundred meters has also been prepared.
The technical committee formed to expand Jubbarhatti Airport in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh has prepared and sent the report of all types of construction works. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will approve all the reports of the technical committee on the basis of all the standards. After getting the complete approval from DGCA, the entire work of extending the runway by 300 meters at Jubbarhatti Airport will be started.
The reports of the technical team for the development work of Jubbarhatti Airport Shimla are awaited from DGCA for approval.
The reports of the technical team have been sent for DGCA approval to increase the length of the runway of Jubbarhatti Airport, the most important airport of Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, by more than three hundred meters.
Also, the entire construction work of the width of the runway of Jubbarhatti Airport will be done keeping in mind all the requirements.
All the reports prepared by the technical team formed for the expansion of Jubbarhatti Airport have been sent to New Delhi for DGCA approval.
After all reports get full approval from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the entire construction work to increase the length of the runway by three hundred meters will be started.
The technical team that reached Jubbarhatti Airport for inspection last week, under the chairmanship of FCA Nodal Officer Sanjay Sood, had prepared a report after visiting the entire airport for the construction works of Jubbarhatti Airport.
The technical team inspected the runway and terminal area at Jubbarhatti Airport, prepared all the reports and sent it for DGCA approval.
According to the reports of the technical team, instructions have been issued to increase both the length and width of the runway of the entire airport to allow landing of all types of big ships at Jubbarhatti Airport Shimla.
There is every possibility of expansion of tourism in Himachal Pradesh after the expansion of Jubbarhatti Airport and improvements in the length and width of all types of runways.
For a long time, all the flights at Jubbarhatti Airport are not being operated properly by the airport management, the main reason for this is said to be the short length and width of the runway of the airport.
With the expansion of Jubbarhatti Airport, all types of facilities can be easily made available to outside tourists.
The distance by road from the capital Shimla to Jubbarhatti Airport is about twenty four kilometers.

Instructions have been given to increase the length and width.

In the second process, the technical team has given instructions to increase the length and width of the runway by filling and flattening the soil towards the ditch of Jubbarhatti Airport.
Jubbarhatti Airport Management has given approval for the construction work in both the processes issued by the technical team. At present, all the reports have been sent to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for final approval.
