Shimla – A consignment of onion has been sent to Himachal Pradesh by the Central Government, the price of which has been fixed at Rs 25 per kg by the Central Government, due to which long queues of people were seen to buy onions.

In Himachal Pradesh, two kg onion is being provided at the rate of twenty-five rupees per kg by showing Aadhaar card. On the other hand, a maximum of four Aadhar cards are being provided to a person.

People bought onions by standing in queues to buy them –

In the Solan vegetable market of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh, the work of distributing onions on subsidy to all the people by the Central Government on behalf of the Indian National Consumer Cooperative Federation Limited (NCCF) is being done smoothly in the Solan vegetable market of Himachal Pradesh. .

In Solan vegetable market, onion is being made available to the people at a minimum rate of twenty-five rupees per kg by showing their Aadhaar card.

The process of sale of onion at the rate of twenty-five rupees per kg in Solan vegetable market has been started from 11 am in the morning through Aadhar card.

According to Solan vegetable market officials of Solan district, about thirty kilo tonnes of onions have been brought to Solan vegetable market in trucks.

Onion consignment from Solan vegetable market has been sent to all the vegetable markets of the capital Shimla, Kinnaur, Rampur Bushahr and Rohru tehsil.

On Thursday and Friday, onion can be purchased at a minimum rate of Rs 25 per kg in all the vegetable markets of Shimla city by showing Aadhaar card.

Officials of Solan vegetable market told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that a person can buy onions only on a maximum of four Aadhar cards.
