Himachal News: 16-year-old minor commits suicide by hanging himself from a tree near his house
Una, June 18: A heartbreaking case of a 16-year-old minor committing suicide by hanging himself from a tree near his house has come to light in Gondpur Jaichand under Tahliwal police station of Una district of Himachal Pradesh. The Tahliwal police station in-charge has identified the deceased as Gurvinder Kumar son of Deepak resident of Ward No. 3, Gondpur Jaichand. Giving information about the entire case, the Tahliwal police station in-charge said that Gurvinder Kumar had left the house on Monday night after having dinner. The Tahliwal police station in-charge and his team have taken Gurvinder Kumar’s body into their custody and sent it to Tanda Medical College for post-mortem. Along with this, the entire case has been registered and investigation has been started.
Tahliwal Police Station in-charge said that on Tuesday morning, the body of 16-year-old minor Gurvinder Kumar was found hanging from a tree at a distance of 500 meters from the house. A person from the village first informed the family members after seeing Gurvinder Kumar’s body hanging from the tree. After which, Tahliwal Police Station in-charge and his team reached the spot, took down Gurvinder Kumar’s body from the tree, took it into their custody and started the investigation. Regarding why 16-year-old minor boy Gurvinder Kumar committed suicide, statements have been recorded by Tahliwal Police Station in-charge after investigation and questioning of villagers.
DSP Haroli Mohan Rawat said that the Tahliwal Police Station in-charge has taken the 16-year-old minor Gurvinder Kumar’s body in his custody and sent it to Tanda Medical College for post-mortem. Along with this, the investigation of the entire case has been started by registering a case.
