Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 19An estimated five hundred apple plants were burnt to ashes due to a massive fire that broke out in Bhadech Panchayat under Junga sub-division of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh last Saturday at 9 pm.

Besides, a cowshed, residential houses and farmers’ grasslands have also been completely burnt to ashes.

Naib Tehsildar Junga Inder Kumar has inspected the incident site and inquired about the condition of all the affected families. Also, Inder Kumar has issued guidelines to the Revenue Department officials to assess the entire loss as soon as possible and release the assistance amount.
