HIMACHAL: Himachal warms up in cold weather, Solan and Dharamshala’s heat breaks records in November
Shimla, 04 November: In Himachal Pradesh, even in the cold weather of November, heat is being felt. Due to the increasing heat of the sun in this season, the records of maximum temperature in the month of November have been broken. While the state remained dry in the month of October, the month of November also began with dry weather. Due to increasing heat day by day, all the records of maximum temperature in Solan and Dharamshala were broken on Sunday. The highest temperature of November so far was recorded at both these places. According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, Solan recorded a maximum temperature of 29.0 and Dharamshala 27.6 degrees Celsius, which is a record so far.
Earlier on Saturday, the old records of maximum temperature were broken in Una, Solan, Keylong and Kangra. The highest mercury so far in November was recorded in these areas. At the same time, the temperature of the entire state including the capital Shimla is above normal, due to which the sunshine of the month of November has made people sweat. The weather is expected to remain clear for the next ten days and there is no possibility of relief from rising temperatures for the next three days. The Meteorological Center has expressed the possibility of the rising temperature coming down after November 8.
Scientist Shobhit Katiyar of the Meteorological Center said that the weather is expected to remain clear in Himachal Pradesh for the next ten days. The weather is forecast to remain dry in all areas of the state till November 12. He said that there is a possibility of light snowfall in the high altitude areas of Chamba, Kangra and Lahaul Spiti of the state on November 12. There is no possibility of rain in the state for the next ten days. The maximum and minimum temperatures are above normal. The temperature will remain like this in the entire state till November 8.
So far in the month of November, the maximum temperature recorded in Solan was 29.0 and Dharamshala 27.6 degree Celsius, which is a record till now. Earlier on Saturday, the temperature record for the month of November was broken in Una. After November 8, there is a possibility of a fall in the maximum and minimum temperatures, but despite this, the temperature will still remain above normal. The reason for the low temperatures is the absence of western disturbance and the weather remaining dry.
