Shimla – Under the new decision of the Himachal Pradesh Government, the administrative secretaries of Himachal Pradesh have now been given permission to purchase digital devices worth up to Rs 1 lakh.
Also, the Himachal Pradesh government has also taken an important decision that after four years of using all the digital devices, all the digital devices will have to be handed over to the administrative secretaries.
Now a notification has been issued to all the administrative secretaries of Himachal Pradesh government to purchase digital devices up to Rs 1 lakh.

According to the new rules of Himachal Pradesh Government, all the administrative secretaries will now be provided funds for purchasing digital devices up to Rs 1 lakh.
Also, Himachal Pradesh Government has taken an important decision to subordinate all digital devices to administrative secretaries after four years of use.
Special digital devices will be provided to all administrative officers of Himachal Pradesh for four years, and before the completion of four years, all administrative secretaries can repurchase the digital devices at book value.

After getting the approval of the Finance Department of Himachal Pradesh Government, Himachal Pradesh e-Governance Department has issued notification and guidelines in this regard to all the administrative secretaries for inclusion of digital technology devices.
According to the new notification issued by the Himachal Pradesh Finance Department, after four years all digital devices will have to be subordinated to the Himachal Pradesh government.
Also, after four years, the maintenance and upkeep of all digital devices will be the responsibility of the Himachal Pradesh government.
Apart from this, the Administrative Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Government who purchased digital devices in the first year will not be able to purchase any digital devices again for the coming four years.
Himachal Pradesh government will give digital devices to all administrative officers for four years, also if administrative secretaries retire in four years or administrative secretaries are transferred from Himachal Pradesh to any other state, then all digital devices will be given value book. As per convenience, it has been decided to provide all types of discounts in the purchase of digital devices.
According to the new rules of Himachal Pradesh Government, if administrative secretaries have not yet completed four years for purchasing old digital devices, then administrative secretaries will not be given eligibility to purchase digital devices.
In Himachal Pradesh, once the Administration Secretary purchases all the digital devices, he will not be able to purchase new digital devices for his own use through his subordinate department.

Himachal Pradesh government has issued a notification to all administrative secretaries to purchase UPS digital devices along with laptops, tablets, iPads, phablets, notepads, notebooks, netbooks, mobile phones, MacBooks, printers under digital devices.

Chief Administrative Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Government Prabodh Saxena, Chief Principal Advisor to CM Sukhu Nisha Singh along with Sanjay Gupta, Chief Principal Secretaries including Omkar Sharma, Bharat Kheda, RD Nazim, Manish Garg, Devesh Kumar, Chief Secretary Dr. Amandeep Garg, Nandita Gupta, Dr. Abhishek Jain, M Sudha Devi, Priyanka Basu, Seepal Rasu, Meera Mohanty, Priyantu Mandal as well as Rakesh Kanwar, all these Chief Administrative Secretaries have been included in the notification.
