Senior Congress leader and former minister Asha Kumari has said that the state government has decided to reduce the price of edible oil in government coaches with the aim of providing relief to the people from inflation.
Addressing a press conference from Dalhousie to Jaldighat today, he said that the government is moving forward from the point of view of tourism. But work will be started soon.
He also said that the government itself has made efforts for the expansion of Kangra airport so that more and more tourists can reach here. Although the constituency is mostly rural area, but Dalhousie city is a tourist spot to be considered at national and international level and promotion of tourism in Himachal Pradesh should be a priority of any government.
And I am happy that our Congress government in Himachal, which is working under the leadership of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, has decided to promote Kangra airport. .
In today’s date, when the season comes, the fare of Delhi and Dharamshala increases a lot. It increases a lot. Definitely it causes inconvenience for our tourists to come and go. So when big flights will come, when boeing will be able to land, air buses will be able to land, then the fare which is there will be reduced.
That too takes three and a half hours from here. It takes four hours to reach Amritsar. Kangra Airport is the only one which is situated at a distance of two and a half hours from Dalhousie. So we will get a lot of benefit from it.
