Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has said that there has been a huge loss due to the natural calamity in the state.

Talking to reporters in Chamba, he said that after the disaster, the central government has released two installments of Rs 360 crore to Himachal Pradesh as aid.

The governor said that he has apprised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the damage caused by the tragedy.

He said that the central team is preparing the report of the damage caused by the disaster and on the basis of this more help will be released to the state.

He said – I have already told the Prime Minister the entire situation of Himachal.
