Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Nahan, May 23The uproar over the selection of venue for Rahul Gandhi’s election rally in Himachal Pradesh has completely ended.Now Congress Party’s star campaigner Rahul Gandhi is going to address a huge public meeting on Sunday, May 26, at Chamba Ground in Nahan, Sirmaur district headquarters of Himachal Pradesh.
It is noteworthy that Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother and former Prime Minister Late. Indira Gandhi addressed a huge public meeting at the historic Chowgan Maidan of Nahan on 3 August 1984.
On May 24, PM Modi’s huge rally and public meeting has been organized at the historic Chowgan Maidan of Nahan, due to which the Congress Party had to shift its venue from Chowgan Maidan to Chamba Ground.
The saddest thing is that Congress Party’s star campaigner Rahul Gandhi will not be able to pay true tribute to his grandmother by addressing a public meeting at the historic Chowgan Maidan.
Forty years ago, before the public meeting on 3 August 1984, four brave soldiers of the military field were honored by Rahul Gandhi’s grandmother and former Prime Minister Late. Indira Gandhi.
All efforts were being made by the top leaders of the Congress Party that the rally of Congress Party’s star campaigner Rahul Gandhi should be organized at the historic Chowgan Maidan, But things did not work out because the contractor was BJP, due to which the Congress Party had to reluctantly shift the program of Rahul Gandhi’s rally and public meeting at Chamba Ground.
Sources said that Industry Minister Harshwardhan Chouhan had reached Congress Bhavan last Thursday evening. There he met Nahan MLA Ajay Solanki and discussed many important points for Rahul Gandhi’s rally to be held at Chamba Ground in Nahan.
Recently, Sister BK Shivani’s program was also organized at Chamba Ground in Nahan.
There will be parking at Chamba Ground for PM Modi’s rally and there will be parking at Chaugan Ground for Rahul Gandhi’s rally.
