- Cryptocurrency Fraud Case: Chargesheet Filed In Shimla Court Against Five Police Personnel.
Shimla – A charge sheet has been filed in Shimla Court by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Himachal Police against five police employees in the cryptocurrency fraud case. The five police employees have been found accused of falsely promising people who invested money in cryptocurrency that they would get double profits. The five police employees had become millionaires by cheating people and getting commission. Let us inform that till now two charge sheets have been filed against all the accused arrested in Shimla Court in the entire cryptocurrency scam of Rs 2,500 crore. A total of 20 accused have been arrested in the entire cryptocurrency case. Challan has also been presented in Shimla court against 19 out of 20 accused.
A charge sheet is being prepared against an accused. Subhash, the main accused in the entire Rs 2500 crore cryptocurrency fraud case and an engineer from Meerut are hiding in Dubai. The process of bringing back both the main accused to India is underway. Properties worth more than Rs 20 crore of both the accused have been seized. SIT says that the documents of all other properties of both the accused are also being examined.
SIT Chief DIG Abhishek Dullar told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that the entire cryptocurrency matter is being seriously investigated. Any accused who cheats the common people is not going to be spared. DIG Abhishek Dullar said that the noose is being tightened against all the accused who worked as agents with the main accused Subhash. More arrests are going to be made in the entire case. So far, chargesheet has been filed in the court against 19 accused. These also include five police personnel.
