On Tuesday, a day before the beginning of the budget session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly, Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania called an all-party meeting and appealed to all the members for constructive cooperation.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mohan Lal Brakta from the ruling party, Balveer Singh Verma and independent MLA KL Thakur from the opposition side participated in the all-party meeting.

Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has appealed to all the members of the ruling party and the opposition to provide constructive cooperation in the conduct of the session.

Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that he would request all the members to extend full cooperation in conducting the session. Make good use of the time of the House to raise issues related to the House. Till Tuesday, the Secretariat has received notices of a total of 882 questions from the members, out of which 632 are starred and 250 unstarred questions, while 9 notices have been received under Rule 101 and 13 under Rule 130, which have been sent to the government for further action. The budget session of Himachal Pradesh Assembly is going to start from Wednesday. The police department has also completed preparations for this. 500 soldiers including police officers will be deployed during the session. Apart from this, services of other police employees will also be taken on rotation. The police department has increased vigil regarding security arrangements.
Anti-social elements and suspicious activities will be monitored using drones. Police headquarters will take information from moment to moment. Police personnel have been on duty since Tuesday. There is tight police surveillance at the entry gates Shoghi Barrier, Tutu Chowk, Mashobra Bifurcation, Mehli-Junga Bypass, Sainj Khad, Kupvi, Chaupal Interstate Barrier Kuddu and Jamradi Check Post. Trains coming from outside areas are being checked at the barrier. Due to the budget session, Shimla has been divided into five sectors. Armed personnel will be deployed along with barricades on the roads of VIS campus. The Secretariat via Old Bus Stand from the Railway Station has been placed in Sector 4, while the route from Victory Tunnel via Lakkar Bazar-Dhali has been placed in Sector 5. The traffic system will be monitored from the CCTV control room in the Superintendent of Police office.

In the budget session, various organizations will thunder outside the Vis with their respective demands –

Thousands of employees of various organizations of the state will shout outside the Assembly regarding their demands in the Assembly budget session. Apart from the officials, workers and employees of the organizations, the candidates will gather at Ambedkar Chowk located at Chauda Maidan. After this, they will demonstrate outside the assembly through a rally. On February 14, Junior Office Assistant (JOA) IT candidates are angry over the result not being released soon. Candidates have been waiting for the results for about one and a half years. Candidates will gather at Ambedkar Chowk at 11 am. Will take out a rally till the assembly. Similarly, workers of PWD Multi Task Union will protest on 15th February and workers of Outsourced Employees Union will protest on 16th February. However, all the organizations have taken conditional approval from the district administration for the rally. During this period, public peace should not be disturbed by organizations. The smooth movement of traffic as well as the general public should not be hindered. Public and private property should not be damaged during the demonstration. Apart from this, there will be a ban on sticks, pipes, banners and sound system during the rally.
