Now a case of arson has come to light in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh as well.Due to the increasing effect of heatwave, the temperature is not falling and hence the incidents of fire are not decreasing.
The entire case of massive fire has happened near the cave in the world famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.
Acually, the flames of massive fire that broke out on the hill adjacent to the ropeway on Tuesday night had become so fierce that it entered the ancient cave of the world famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi ji in no time.Due to a terrible fire, the centuries-old forest adjacent to the ancient cave has been burnt to ashes.
It is being told that a large number of devotees who had come to visit the famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi Ji have saved their lives by running away.
The priests of the famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi Ji temple said that on Tuesday night, such a fierce fire broke out in the forest adjacent to the ancient cave that two of their vehicles parked near the hotel were also burnt to ashes in the massive fire.
Local priests of Shri Naina Devi Ji temple, Vikash Sharma and Vishal Sharma, have suffered a loss of lakhs of rupees due to the fierce fire. Both the priests have demanded compensation from the Himachal Pradesh government with immediate effect.
As soon as the information about the fierce fire was received, the fire department team was deployed on the spot. Every possible effort is being made to control the fierce fire, but according to the fire department officials, the ropeway services are on the verge of being shut down due to the fierce fire.
The fire brigade in-charge said that on Tuesday night, as soon as the information of the fierce fire was received, the fire brigade team reached the spot and the fierce fire in the ropeway and forest adjacent to the ancient cave of the famous Shaktipeeth Shri Naina Devi Ji temple has been controlled, but due to the heatwave the danger of forest fire has not reduced.
