- Himachal Assembly Budget Session: 13 Settings Will Be Held, 793 Questions Received.
Himachal Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has held a meeting of Press Gallery Committee on Monday.
After this, while addressing the press conference, he said that this is the fifth session of the fourteenth assembly.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla’s address is going to be held on 14th February. This will be discussed for two days. There will be 13 meetings in the budget session.
Normally no action is taken after the Governor’s address.
All members can also present a condolence motion on the first day if any member or former member has died between the last session and this session.
Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will present the budget on February 17. Budget will be discussed for four days. Budget will be passed on 29 February. This time 22nd and 26th will be Non-Official Members’ Day.
Assembly has received a total of 793 questions for the budget session. There are 582 starred and 209 unstarred questions. Eight notices have been received under Rule 130. If the government wants to bring it for discussion, permission will be given for it.
On the other hand, the Himachal Cabinet meeting will be held on February 14 under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. The budget can be approved in the cabinet meeting.

Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that Himachal Pradesh Assembly’s own official YouTube channel will be started.
It is being considered to make the proceedings of the House live. The sound system is also being repaired here.
