Himachal: 55 year old unmarried man dies due to scorching from heater

Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 02:A fifty-five year old unmarried man living in a rented room in Kasumpti, a suburban area of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, died in the room due to scorching on the heater. The deceased has been identified as Krishna Chand by Chhota Shimla police station in-charge.

Chhota Shimla police station in-charge said that the entire matter came to light last Thursday evening on the information of the landlord. Local people told that Krishna Chand was not coming out of the room for three to four consecutive days.

Then the grocery shop owner had sent his helper to deliver the goods to Krishna Chand’s room. On opening the room, it was found that Krishna Chand was lying dead due to burns from the heater.

Then the grocer told the landlord about Krishna Chand’s death.

The body has been sent for postmortem report.
