Hamirpur News: Six Students Taken Into Custody Again After Arriving Drunk In NIT Hamirpur

Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh) – All the six students, who once again arrived in an intoxicated state at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, located in Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, will be taken into judicial custody and will be presented in the Himachal Pradesh High Court On Monday.
Hamirpur district police administration took strict action when more than six trainees entered the institute in an inebriated condition at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur on Saturday. All six students have been sent to judicial custody.
Among all the six trainees caught by the Special Cell of Hamirpur District Police Administration, one girl student was found in a state of severe intoxication and five students were found in a state of extreme intoxication and will be taken into judicial custody and challenged in the Himachal Pradesh High Court on Monday.
As soon as the information about the entire incident was received, the Chief Director and Registrar of National Institute of Technology (NIT) reached the campus on the spot and provided cooperation in the entire action of Hamirpur District Police Administration.
Hamirpur district police administration sent all six trainees to judicial custody due to their attempts to enter the institute in the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, located in the Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh, once again under the influence of alcohol on Saturday.
Among the trainees sent to judicial custody, during the entire proceedings, one girl student was found in an intoxicated state and five students were also found in an intoxicated state. Instructions to take strict action against all the six trainees were issued by Himachal Pradesh Director General of Police, Dr. Sanjay Kundu.
As soon as information about the incident was received in the entire institute, the Director and Registrar of National Institute of Technology (Hamirpur) reached the spot and provided cooperation in the entire action process of Hamirpur District Police Administration.
The Disciplinary Committee of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur gave seriousness to the matter and provided all types of information under Sadar Police Station of Hamirpur district.
As soon as the information was received, the entire teams of Sadar Police Station of Hamirpur district reached National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur and took an important decision of taking all the six trainees into judicial custody and presenting them before the Himachal Pradesh High Court.
On the occasion, Chief Registrar of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, Dr. Archana Nanoti told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that all the six intoxicated trainees have been handed over to the teams of Sadar Police Station of Hamirpur district.
On the other hand, Hamirpur District Police Administration SP Aakriti Sharma told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that first of all on-the-spot medical test of all the six trainees has been conducted to catch the consignment of drugs. As soon as the report is received, the drug mafia will also be arrested.
