Hamirpur News : Incessant heavy rains disrupt life in Hamirpur district
Hamirpur News : Life in Hamirpur district has also been disrupted due to incessant rains. After heavy rains in Sujanpur area of the district, the entire Sujanpur city has been submerged. There has been heavy damage to government and private property.
Most of the roads in the district headquarters Hamirpur have also been closed due to landslides. More than half a dozen vehicles were damaged due to landslides in Housing Board Colony Hamirpur.
The Deputy Commissioner’s residence has also been threatened due to landslides. Electricity, water and communication services have been badly affected due to heavy rains and landslides in the district.
In view of the increasing incidents in the district, the district administration has issued a heavy alert in the district and at the same time all the programs scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled.
