Hamirpur News : Deepak Bhardwaj student of NIT Hamirpur has been given a scholarship of Rs 2 crore for pursuing PhD abroad

Hamirpur News : Deepak Bhardwaj, a student of the Department of Physics and Photonics Science, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, has been given a scholarship of Rs 2 crore for pursuing PhD abroad.

Deepak will get this scholarship for research in quantum engineering under the supervision of professor George Bretto at Bristol University. Expressing his happiness on receiving this scholarship, Deepak has expressed his gratitude to the professors of the institute.

At the same time, the director and department head of the institute have also expressed happiness over Deepak getting the scholarship.

Deepak said – I have just received a fully funded scholarship from the University of Bristol, for PhD in quantum engineering program, for four years. The amount of this scholarship is two crores and it will be allotted to me for four years.

I did my msc from NIT Hamirpur from department of physics and photonics science. In 2021 I have completed my MSC there and later I went to do project in IIT Guwahati.

After that I got this scholarship through project I contacting the professor in University of Bristol and from there I want to thank all my teachers and my NIT Hamirpur professor who supported me at every moment But till my CV.

The professor said – It is a matter of great pleasure for the NIT family and for the department of physics and photonics science that our child Deepak has received an international scholarship from Bristol University and this package is worth more than two crores. have been found

And this NIT, Hamirpur has got the highest research package till date, the child has got scholarship. Deepak Bhardwaj of NIT, Hamirpur, who was doing MSc physics i.e. MSc in physics department. Got an offer and it is a matter of great pride for our institute and NIT for this and I congratulate Deepak Bhardwaj and his entire teacher for this, that such children come to the institute again and again and out go for higher studies.
