Himachal Pradesh Merit Incentive Scheme
Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, June 13 :Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department has invited applications from meritorious students till June 23, 2024 in the Medha Protsahan Yojana for the academic session 2023-2024 under the financial year 2024-2025.
Dr. Amarjeet Sharma, Director, Himachal Pradesh Higher Education Department, said in the capital Shimla on Thursday that financial assistance of maximum one lakh rupees will be provided for coaching of competitive examinations like CLAT/ NEET/IIT-JEE-AFMC /NDA and UPSC/SSC/Banking/ Insurance & Railways in eligible institutions in Himachal Pradesh and outside Himachal Pradesh.
Dr. Amarjeet Sharma said that 280 candidates of 12th level and 120 candidates of graduation level will be selected on the basis of merit under the Medha Protsahan Yojana.
He informed that all the interested students of 12th level can apply to avail the benefit of Medha Protsahan Yojana by post or email to the Deputy Director, Higher Education of their respective district.
He also said that interested students of graduation level can send their application form in PDF format to Additional or Joint Director, (College), Directorate of Education by post or e-mail medha.protsahan@gov.in by 23 June 2024.
Dr. Amarjeet Sharma said that all applications received after 23 June 2024 will be invalid.
Apart from this, Dr. Amarjeet Sharma said that only one application form will be accepted by one e-mail.
He said that for all the information related to Medha Protsahan Yojana, the candidates can visit the official website of Director Higher Education, Himachal Pradesh www.education.hp.gov.in
