One woman and four people have died after their car fell into a deep gorge near Tarela on the Dhakog-Tarela-Banni road. Three people died on the spot, while one woman died during treatment at Chamba Medical College. The entire accident happened after noon on Tuesday. As soon as information about the entire incident was received, teams of Chamba District Police Administration reached the spot with immediate effect and started the investigation process.

The teams of Chamba District Police Administration took the bodies in their custody and sent them to Civil Hospital Bharmour for post-mortem. Chamba District Police Administration identified the deceased as Ravindra Kumar son of Manas Ram Tarela Gram Panchayat, Om Prakash son of Kirpa Ram main resident Thalla Gram Panchayat and Ghughar son Johari Ram main resident Thalla Gram Panchayat Post Office Aurafati Tehsil Bharmour and one deceased woman identified as Pavana Devi wife Madan Lal has been cast as Sulo, the chief resident. The four deceased people had gone from Dhakag towards Tarela for some personal work.

Meanwhile, after covering a distance of about two kilometers from Dhakog, the car went out of control due to brake failure and fell into a deep gorge. Due to which three people traveling in the car died on the spot. On the other hand, a seriously injured woman was taken to Chamba Medical College for first aid, where she also died during treatment. Hearing the sound of the car falling into a deep deep ditch, the local villagers immediately reached the spot and informed the teams of Bharmour police station about the car falling into the ditch.

Bharmour police station teams, with the help of local villagers, took out the bodies of all the three car occupants from the deep ditch and sent them to Bharmour Civil Hospital for post-mortem. On the other hand, Chamba District Police Administration SP Abhishek Yadav, while addressing the Diary Times press conference, said that four people have died in the total car accident. The teams of Bharmour Police Station have reached the entire incident site and have started the investigation process into all the causes of the accident.
