Due to a massive fire in Dhalpur Chowk of Kullu District Administration Headquarters of Himachal Pradesh, seven shops have been burnt to ashes. It has been estimated that there was a loss of more than forty lakh rupees due to the burning of seven shops in the massive fire. The massive fire broke out on Saturday night at around 12:40.

Due to the massive fire, an atmosphere of great chaos was created in Kullu city and the fire department personnel were informed about the massive fire by the local people.

As soon as the information about the massive fire was received, the team of Kullu District Fire Department reached the spot and made every effort to control the massive fire.

It took almost two hours for the Kullu fire department to control the massive fire.

The massive fire had spread even further due to the explosion of three gas cylinders.

While one cylinder has been taken out safely by the fire department personnel.

SDM Kullu District Administration Vikas Shukla told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that due to the massive fire, three vegetable shops, a news agency as well as seven shops were completely burnt to ashes.

All the reasons for the massive fire have not been known yet.
