Financial crisis deepens in Himachal, salary not received even after 3rd of the month
Shimla, 03 September: There is uproar in the state regarding the financial crisis in Himachal Pradesh. First, the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh talked about financial crisis in the House and decided to defer the salary of himself, ministers, CPS and MLAs for 2 months and later the Chief Minister is saying that there is no financial crisis but for the first time in the history of Himachal, the employees have not received their salary till the 3rd.
Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that the truth of Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Khata Khat’ guarantees has been exposed in Himachal Pradesh, other states should also learn a lesson from this. Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that despite it being the 3rd today, the salary of the employees and pension to the pensioners has not come in their accounts while the Chief Minister is sometimes saying that there is an economic crisis and sometimes saying that there is no economic crisis. If there is no economic crisis then why have the employees not received their salary.
The opposition had demanded a discussion on this in the House but the government is not serious. An economic crisis has arisen in Himachal Pradesh and the opposition is serious about it. In the process of fulfilling the guarantee, the employees are not even getting their salary, which is not good for the future of Himachal. The opposition legislative party has demanded intervention by submitting a memorandum to the Governor. The false guarantees of BJP and Congress will be exposed in the election states as well.
There is a lot of anger among the employees as they have not received their salary even on the 3rd. Employee leaders say that the situation is not clear as to when the salary will come and neither has the government given any official information about it. Employees have to borrow money from here and there to meet their expenses. Employees have to pay bills of electricity, water, ration etc. which they are not able to pay. The EMI of the employees is also getting affected. Employees are getting calls from the bank and some have even been charged a penalty. The employee who is raising his voice against the government is being transferred.
