Shimla, June 17: The process of appointment on batchwise posts of JBT and TGT in government schools of Himachal Pradesh is going to be started.The Himachal Pradesh Elementary Education Department had sent a file to the Education Secretary to start the appointment process for batch wise posts.
Now Education Secretary Rakesh Kanwar has sought permission from the Election Commission to start the appointment process for batch wise posts.
The model code of conduct is in force due to by-elections in three districts of Himachal Pradesh- Hamirpur, Kangra and Solan. Due to which permission has been sought from the Election Commission by Education Secretary Rakesh Kanwar for batch wise recruitments.
Candidates are also waiting for appointment for a long time after the counseling process. Let us tell you that appointments are to be made on both JBT and TGT posts after the counseling process is completed.
Himachal government has given clear orders that JBT and TGT appointments will be made only in schools with single teachers And Education Minister Rohit Thakur has also said that JBT and TGT appointments will be made first in remote and inaccessible areas of Himachal Pradesh so that the education of children of remote and inaccessible areas is not hindered.
Rohit Thakur has asked to give appointments to the posts of TGT and JBT in government schools after completing the counseling. 1023 TGTs have been selected in government schools through batchwise recruitment. All the teachers will get appointment letters soon.
Also, the counseling process for batchwise recruitment of JBT on 1161 posts has been completed. The result of batchwise counseling of October-November year 2023 was released by Himachal Pradesh Directorate of Elementary Education on 13 March, in which 496 candidates of TGT Arts, 333 of Non-Medical and 194 of Medical have been selected.
