Fire broke out due to leakage of gas cylinder

Food was being cooked for this when gas leaked in the cylinder and a fire broke out, creating chaos. One person got burnt in this incident. The matter is of Summerhill, a suburb of the capital Shimla.

Actually, a fire broke out while cooking food for the evening langar in the Durga temple of Summerhill. A worker got partially burnt due to the fire that broke out due to leakage of a gas cylinder. After a lot of hard work, the fire brigade personnel brought the fire under control and prevented a major accident from happening. If the fire had not been controlled in time, the entire Summerhill market could have been destroyed. Summerhill also houses the campus of Himachal Pradesh University.

According to fire personnel, langar was to be held this evening in the Durga temple located at Summerhill Chowk. For this, preparation of food was going on in a store near the temple. Suddenly at around one in the afternoon, gas leaked from a cylinder and the fire broke out and started spreading to the nearby shops. This created chaos there.
During this time, Mast Ram who was cooking got burnt. Due to smoke and flames coming out of the store, nearby shopkeepers closed their shops and went out. As soon as the information was received, fire vehicles from boileauganj fire station immediately reached the spot. Apart from this, fire vehicles were also called from Mall Road and Chhota Shimla centres.
