Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Solan, April 28: Solan Police has achieved great success in the case of theft of entire cash from three donation boxes in Durga Mata Temple Lakkar Bazaar of Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.A pair of brothers who committed theft have been caught from Kullu district.Besides, all the valuables stolen from Durga Devi temple have also been seized.Solan Police SP Gaurav Singh told Diary Times that both the accused brothers are employees of Barog Hotel and last Friday both the brothers had gone to demand their salary from the owner of Barog Hotel. But since the owner did not have cash, the hotel owner had asked them to pay their salaries on Saturday.

But due to lack of money to consume drugs, the two brothers broke three donation boxes of Durga Mata Mandir Lakkar Bazaar with a sharp instrument and ran away with the entire cash.

Then the local people informed the police that the donation boxes of Durga Mata Temple Lakkar Bazar Solan were broken and after reaching the Durga Mata Temple, the police investigated and found that cash had been missing from all the three boxes.Solan police took out the list of the accused, identified them, registered a case and arrested both the brothers from Kullu.Both the real brothers have been identified as Sunil Kumar, aged twenty-eight years and Anil Kumar, aged twenty-five years, son of Jaram Singh, resident of village Samra, Tehsil Bharmour, Chamba. Police teams have seized cash, currency notes and precious coins from both the accused.

In the case sheet of Solan Police, it has been revealed that Sunil and Anil are big drug criminals and a drug case has been registered against the accused younger brother Anil in Dalhousie police station Chamba district and three cases have also been registered against the elder brother Sunil. In which two cases of Narcotics Act are registered in Dharamshala police station Kangra district and one case in Sadar police station Chamba district and one case of robbery is registered in Shahpur police station Kangra district.
