Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Nahan, May 05:A massive fire has erupted in the forest of Banog Degree College, Sirmaur district headquarters of Himachal Pradesh.Fire brigade and fire department personnel are making every effort to extinguish the massive fire, but due to the continuous spread of the fire, it is becoming difficult to control it since last three hours.

Let us tell you that the fire department was informed about the massive fire in the forest of Banog Degree College at 4.30 pm on Sunday.

After that the fire brigade vehicles arrived but by then the fire had become very severe due to which the fire could not be controlled.According to the fire department, the electrical transformer has also been affected by the massive fire but no death has been reported.

 

Banog Degree College is also adjacent to the forest, hence controlling the massive fire is a challenge. The massive fire has reached Villa Round and all efforts are being made to extinguish it.

The fire above Villa Round has been extinguished, but the work to extinguish the fire in the forest is going on.
