The New Zealand cricket team, which reached Dharamshala to play the International Cricket World Cup, met spiritual Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama on Tuesday and received his blessings.

All the players of the New Zealand cricket team led by captain Tom Latham, who came to play the ICC Cricket World Cup, and their wives also warmly met the spiritual leader Dalai Lama at the main Buddhist temple in McLeodganj, Dharamshala.

Meanwhile, he also had a light conversation with the spiritual leader Dalai Lama and all the players of the New Zealand cricket team.

After meeting the spiritual leader Dalai Lama, all the players of the New Zealand cricket team left for the hotel again.

The New Zealand cricket team will be seen practicing today at the International Cricket Stadium of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) with all the players and team management in the presence of acting captain Tom Latham at 2 pm today.

On the other hand, Indian cricket team’s opening batsman Shubman Gill and his teammate Ishan Kishan have left the hotel in Dharamshala early on Tuesday morning.

Also on Wednesday the Indian cricket team will return from Dharamshala. The New Zealand cricket team will remain in Dharamshala till 28th October. The ICC ODI World Cup match between New Zealand and Australia will be played at Dharamshala Stadium on 28th October.

Due to which the players of New Zealand cricket team are exploring all the tourist places in and around Dharamshala very well. Also, some players of the New Zealand cricket team visited Palampur, the local area of Dharamshala, along with their families on Monday evening.
