Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Dharamshala, March 19:  Martin Luther King-III (son of Dr. Martin Luther King) along with his wife and daughter have arrived in Dharamshala to meet spiritual leader Dalai Lama. The family of human rights activist Martin Luther King has arrived in Dharamshala on a two-day visit along with some board members of the Dalai Lama Center in Vancouver, Canada. After meeting the Dalai Lama, King III made brief remarks about China, saying, “I hope that China will grow and change to some extent, because oppression of anyone is wrong, injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Martin Luther King-III said it was wonderful to see and talk to the Dalai Lama. It’s wonderful to be with him again. My wife, I and our daughter had the opportunity to be with His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Washington, DC, on his 75th birthday. It is beyond refreshing and uplifting in the truest sense. We are working on a project called Making Dreams Come True.

Martin Luther King-III said that we are a world community and if you want to bring peace, justice, we have to work together. Thubten Gempa, the Dalai Lama English translator, said Martin Luther King III had come here. There is a proposal to link up with the Martin Luther King Foundation with the Dalai Lama center in Vancouver. That’s why they have come here to seek blessings.
