Kangra – Himachal Pradesh cricket team for Vijay Merchant Trophy Under-16 category has been announced by the senior selection committee of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), Dharamshala. Also, the HPCA selectors have handed over the Captaincy of Himachal Pradesh cricket team for Vijay Merchant Trophy Under-16 category to Aditya Kataria.

Himachal Pradesh cricket team will be seen playing its five matches of Vijay Merchant Cricket Trophy competition in Baroda, Gujarat from December 1. It has been decided to keep four additional players on standby in the sixteen-member Vijay Merchant Trophy Himachal Pradesh cricket team selected by the senior selectors of HPCA.

Aditya Kataria will captain Himachal Pradesh cricket team in Vijay Merchant Trophy –

The Himachal Pradesh cricket team for the Under-16 category of the Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket competition has been announced by the senior cricket selectors of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), Dharamshala.

The captaincy of Himachal Pradesh cricket team has been handed over to the shoulders of Aditya Kataria of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh for the Under-16 category of Vijay Merchant Trophy.

Himachal Pradesh cricket team has been announced to play five matches of Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket competition in Baroda, Gujarat from December 1.

In the sixteen-member cricket squad announced by the senior selectors of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, it has been decided to include four additional players as stand-ins.

In the sixteen-member team announced by HPCA for the Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket competition, the responsibility of captaincy is given to Aditya Kataria along with Aprajita Sharma, Ansh Thakur, Aniket Thakur, Sanchit Saroch, Shivam Sharma, Shivam, Laxman Thakur, Divesh Katoch, Lakshya Thakur, Manthan Gurung, Japneet Singh, Naunihal, Om Mahadev, Adit Arora have been given place in the team and Karthikeya Sharma has been given place in the team.

Also, HPCA will travel with Himachal Pradesh cricket team as stands to four players Dharia Basoli, Divyansh Thakur, Sujal Verma and Trishak Rajput.

On the other hand, Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Dharamshala will appoint Ankit Agarwal as the head coach of Himachal Pradesh cricket team for the Vijay Merchant Trophy.

Apart from this, HPCA has appointed Rohit Kalia as the chief assistant coach for the Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket competition of Himachal Pradesh cricket team, Ankush Aditya as the team trainer, Mayank Balasundaram as the team physio and also the Lakshya Raj has been assigned manager of Himachal Pradesh cricket team by HPCA.

Himachal Pradesh cricket team will play its first match with Puducherry team at Baroda Cricket Stadium from December 1 to December 3.

Also, Himachal Pradesh Cricket will play its second match with Uttar Pradesh cricket team from December 6 to December 8 at Baroda Cricket Stadium.

Along with this, Himachal Pradesh cricket team will be seen playing its third match with Punjab cricket team at Baroda Cricket Stadium from 11th to 13th December.

Himachal Pradesh Cricket will be seen playing the fourth match of Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket competition with Kerala cricket team between December 16 and December 18.

Himachal Pradesh cricket team will play its fifth match with Assam cricket team between December 21st and December 23rd.

Chief Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, Avnish Parmar told Diary Times correspondent Kumud Sharma that as per the domestic cricket schedule of BCCI, the sixteen-member Himachal Pradesh cricket team was unanimously announced for the Under-16 category under the Vijay Merchant Trophy competition.

All the members of the Senior Committee of HPCA have handed over the responsibility of captaincy to Aditya Kataria of Bilaspur district for the upcoming Vijay Merchant Trophy competition.

Four additional players in the sixteen-member Himachal Pradesh cricket team will travel with the Himachal Pradesh cricket team as standby.

The first match of Himachal Pradesh cricket team will be held from December 1 to 3 with Puducherry cricket team at Baroda Cricket Stadium.

If the Himachal Pradesh cricket team, under the leadership of captain Aditya Kataria, wins all its matches and tops the league table, then the Himachal Pradesh cricket team will enter the knockout round.

Also, HPCA Secretary Avneesh Parmar said that the main knockout match of Vijay Merchant Cricket Trophy will start from December 27 as per the schedule of BCCI.

Trial rounds of National Water Sports Competition will start from 30th November –

The trial round of the thirty-fourth National Water Sports Competition is going to start from November 30 in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.

For the trial round, the entire competition will be organized by the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association from December 16 to December 19 at the small pond located in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh.

For the selection process of Himachal Pradesh team for the thirty-fourth National Water Sports Competition, the team will be selected through a trial round in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.

For the trial round, a trial will be organized for the selection of Himachal Pradesh team at Water Sports Center in Bilaspur district on 30th November.

Before starting the trial round, swimming trial of all the participants will be conducted compulsorily.

During the selection process of Himachal Pradesh Water Sports Team, the selection process will be conducted in the chief presence of Dr. Padam Singh Guleria, General Secretary, Himachal Pradesh Water Sports Association.

It has been decided to conduct complete training for all the players selected in the water sports team of Himachal Pradesh in the water sports center of Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.
