Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr. Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that the Himachal Pradesh government will take tough decisions in the coming months to ensure all-round development of the people of Himachal Pradesh. Important decisions will be taken for the all-round development of farmers, employees, women and youth of Himachal Pradesh. The Congress Party government has not come to power just to enjoy pleasures. When the biggest natural disaster in the history of Himachal Pradesh occurred, the Congress Party MP met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at that time Modi ji did not even listen to him. Congress Party wants to ask why three MPs of Bharatiya Janata Party were not convinced enough to bring help from the Central Government for the natural disaster affected people of Himachal Pradesh. CM Sukhu said that he himself had repeatedly gone to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the Union Ministers. CM Sukhu said that Himachal Pradesh could have implemented the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) after four years, but the Himachal Pradesh government has fulfilled its guarantees by implementing OPS immediately after coming to power.

Addressing a huge public meeting, Honourable Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said that when the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh came to power, former Bharatiya Janata Party leader Jairam Thakur had not left any money to meet the expenses of even one day. Due to which Himachal Pradesh had taken a loan of fourteen thousand crore rupees. CM Sukhu said that we had even presented the white paper in the House. Due to which now every citizen of Himachal Pradesh has a debt of Rs 1 lakh 2 thousand. CM Sukhu said that for disaster relief, the Congress government of Himachal Pradesh has given a disaster relief package of Rs 4,500 crore to the natural disaster affected people of Himachal Pradesh. Instead of giving one lakh rupees for providing housing facilities by changing all the laws and rules in case of natural disaster, the Himachal Pradesh government has announced to give seven lakh rupees. The Himachal Pradesh government has also implemented a system to provide house rent to all the natural disaster affected people of Himachal Pradesh. Taking aim at the Bharatiya Janata Party, CM Sukhu said that Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur kept talking about calling the Himachal Pradesh Assembly session. A discussion was also held in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly House regarding demanding a natural disaster relief package from the Narendra Modi government at the Centre. There were fierce debates in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly House for three days and when the matter of voting came up, the BJP leaders left.
CM Sukhu targeted BJP for not getting natural disaster relief package amount –
CM Sukhu said that three MPs of the Bharatiya Janata Party did not even have the courage to bring any kind of help to the Modi government at the Center for the natural disaster affected people of Himachal Pradesh. Also, CM Sukhu said that Congress Party MP Pratibha Singh had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, then Modi ji did not even listen to him.

From the stage itself, CM Sukhu praised Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, Himachal Pradesh Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Education Minister Rohit Thakur, Agriculture Minister Chandra Kumar, Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan as well as all other cabinet ministers. CM Sukhu has also praised Himachal Pradesh Tourism Department Vice Chairman Raghuveer Singh Bali for his active response during the heart-wrenching natural disaster in Himachal Pradesh.
