Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Dharamshala, June 0271.30 percent voting has been recorded in the by-election of Dharamshala assembly constituency.Kangra District Election Officer and DC Kangra Hemraj Bairwa, while giving complete information, said that the voting process of Dharamshala assembly by-election has been completed in a transparent and peaceful manner.
He said that a total of 86 thousand 603 voters are registered to successfully complete the voting process of Dharamshala assembly by-election, out of which forty-two thousand seven hundred two women and 43 thousand 940 male voters have participated.
He said that 31 thousand 28 women voters and 30 thousand 31 male voters have participated in the voting process completed last Saturday.
Ninety-one polling stations were set up –
A total of 91 polling stations were set up by the Election Commission for the convenience of voters to vote in the by-election of Dharamshala assembly constituency. Out of 91 polling stations, 90 polling stations were in the general category and one polling station was in the critical category.Polling station number 54-Mandal was placed in the category of critical polling station.Webcasting of 47 places and 63 polling stations has also been done to ensure successful completion of the voting process in the by-election of Dharamshala assembly constituency.Four model polling stations were set up by the Election Commission in the by-election of Dharamshala assembly constituency, which include Chilgari, Civil Lines, Dari-3 and Yol-2.
