Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri reached his home district Una late last evening to take stock of the flood-affected areas. On this occasion, along with the district administration officials, he took stock of the most flood affected Una and Hoshiarpur road.

Apart from this, the Deputy Chief Minister took a meeting with the officials and took reports of the damage caused by the rains at other places in the district and directed the officials to implement the relief works with immediate effect.

Mukesh Angihotri said that the oldest Ghalu Wal bridge in the district has suffered a lot of damage, so traffic has been completely stopped from this route as a precaution. .

Mukesh Agnihotri has issued instructions to the district administration to contact the flood-affected and provide relief as soon as possible. The Deputy Chief Minister said that about eight hundred and seventy-six bus routes of the Road Transport Corporation had to be postponed due to this situation.

More than 400 settlers are stuck in such parts of the state from where it is not possible to evacuate them. He informed that the Jal Shakti Department has also suffered a loss of more than Rs 300 crore due to heavy rains. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government Standing firmly with every citizen in this hour of trouble.

He said – Himachal Pradesh is currently in the grip of floods and rains and this atmosphere has prevailed throughout the state and the state has suffered huge losses. Vehicles have been washed away and people’s crops have been damaged, houses have been damaged.
