Delhi Mayor instructs zonal officers to prepare list of ‘non-performing’ employees
Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi has directed all jurisdictional officers to prepare a “list” of employees who are “willfully not fulfilling” their duties towards the public. The mayor’s office gave this information on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by the office, Oberoi was quoted as saying that a list of such employees is being prepared to improve accountability and performance and laxity will not be tolerated.
The mayor took this step after receiving several complaints from local councilors about the lack of cleanliness in their areas, lack of teaching staff and poor maintenance of parks.
The statement added that the mayor has directed the jurisdictional officers to “prepare a list of those employees who willfully do not fulfill their duties towards the public.”
Preparations for the election in the municipal corporation started

An important meeting will be held on April 26 for the election of Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation of Delhi. MCD officials gave this information. “The nomination process for the election of mayor and deputy mayor will end on April 18 and the general meeting of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi is to be held on April 26,” the official said.
