CU Dharamshala Hosts All India Inter Zonal Women’s Weightlifting Competition with 320 Players from 89 Universities
The All India Inter Zonal Women’s Weightlifting Competition was formally inaugurated on Wednesday. On the occasion of the inauguration of All India Inter Zonal Women Weightlifting Competition, Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Central University, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal took the salute by march past and weight lifting sports competitions were formally inaugurated.

- Dharamshala: All India Inter Zonal Women’s Weightlifting Competition Begins In SAI Indoor Sports Complex.
This time the All India Inter Zonal Women Weightlifting Competition is being hosted by Himachal Pradesh Central University. The three-day All India Inter Zonal Women’s Weightlifting Competition is being organized at the SAI Indoor Sports Complex, courtesy the Association of Indian Universities.

On the occasion of the inauguration of All India Inter Zonal Women Weightlifting Competition, Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Central University, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal took the salute by march past and weight lifting sports competitions were formally inaugurated.
Arjuna Award winner and Commonwealth medalist Vikas Thakur has participated in the program of All India Inter Zonal Women’s Weightlifting Competition as a special guest. Different weightlifting teams from about 89 universities are participating in the All India Inter Zonal Women’s Weightlifting Competition.
Around 320 players are participating in the All India Inter Zonal Women Weightlifting Competition. In the inauguration program of All India Inter Zonal Women Weightlifting Competition at Himachal Pradesh Central University Dean Student Welfare Prof. Sunil Thakur, Registrar and Sports Director Prof. Suman Sharma and Dean Academic Prof. Pradeep Along with All faculty members, non-teaching staff and a large number of students from all three campuses were present.
