CRPF jawan Rajat Katoch, aged 31 years, son of late Iqwal Chand Katoch, resident of Bhaura village of Palampur sub-division of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, died due to cardiac arrest while on duty in Chennai.

According to the complete information received from CRPF, Rajat Katoch, a soldier from Bhaura village of Palampur sub-division of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, was deployed in Chennai in Tamil Nadu state.

Late Iqwal Chand Katoch, father of CRPF jawan Rajat Katoch, also died suddenly during his service in CRPF.

Rajat was only five years old at the time of the death of his father, late Iqwal Chand Katoch.
