Shimla, July 13: Kamlesh Thakur, wife of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, has won the Dehra Assembly by-election in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. On the victory, a grand victory procession was taken out in Dehra, in which a large number of Congress Karyakartas and supporters participated.
While talking to the media, in response to a question, Kamlesh Thakur, wife of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, said, “I have come to politics for social service, CM Sir does politics.” She said that an MLA goes to his CM for work, I hope that if I take ten works, then at least 8 will be done.

Kamlesh Thakur described her victory as the victory of Mata Rani and said that she prays to Mata Rani for the health and progress of the people. She said that the enlightened people of Dehra assembly constituency have won, I will go to CM Sir with the appropriate work.
Newly elected MLA Kamlesh Thakur offered prayers at Shri Baglamukhi temple during the victory procession and received the blessings of the mother. On this occasion, Himachal Pradesh and Kangra district level leaders and Karyakartas were also present with Kamlesh Thakur. Congress Karyakartas saw this victory of Kamlesh Thakur as a big success and celebrated it with great enthusiasm. The Karyakartas distributed sweets and danced with drums.
