Shimla, June 28: CM Sukhu met the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Friday to calm down the controversy that started over the bill related to the appointment of Vice Chancellors. Let us tell you that CM Sukhu met the Governor after four months.

It is noteworthy that last Thursday, the Governor had taunted the Himachal government over the bill related to the appointment of vice-chancellors of universities and said that the bill is not in the Raj Bhavan but with the Himachal government. In such a situation, the Agriculture Minister is wrongly blaming the Raj Bhavan for not appointing vice-chancellors.

CM Sukhu met the Governor on Friday and said that the Governor has expressed displeasure over some issues, which is also justified.

On Yoga Day, no minister, MLA from the Himachal Government participated in the state level program. The Governor has expressed displeasure over this, while the bill related to the appointment of Vice Chancellors is also with the government. This has happened due to lack of communication, so in future the communication with the Governor will be improved so that such misunderstandings do not occur. The government will soon take a decision regarding the appointment of Vice Chancellors.

In view of the upcoming rainy season in Himachal Pradesh, the CM said that all departments have been instructed to remain alert and he himself is also monitoring.

In view of the damage caused by the rains last year, CM Sukhu has appealed to the people to take precautions during the rains this year and stay away from rivers and streams.

On the question of law and order, CM Sukhu said that all people are equal in the eyes of the law, whether they are common people or leaders.

In the Bilaspur incident, the police is working under the law. The Himachal government will not tolerate any tampering with law and order.
