Reported & Written By Kumud Sharma, Diary Times, Shimla, May 10:A case of major fraud with a famous businessman from Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, has come to light.In which the businessman had deposited a cheque of Rs 2,30,000 through the drop box for clearance in The Mall Shimla branch of SBI Bank, but the fraud accused took out the cheque from the drop box and changed the name and account details and committed a fraud of Rs 2,30,000.
Let us tell you that this fraud has been carried out with the famous businessman Harvinder Singh of Sohan Studio Pvt. of Shimla Mall Road.

Harvinder Singh, a famous businessman of Sohan Studio Private, told in his complaint to the Sadar police station incharge that he is the owner of Sohan Studio Private in the famous Mall Road of Shimla, And to deposit the amount in his current account, a cheque of Rs 2,30,000 was deposited in the drop box of The Mall Shimla branch of SBI Bank for clearance.
But when the cheque clearance money did not come into his current account, he went to The Mall Shimla branch of SBI Bank and found out that the cheque clearance had been done but the money had not come into his current account, Due to which a cheque fraud of Rs 2,30,000 has been done to him.
Harvinder Singh said that the accused has committed fraud by changing the name in the cheque.
Shimla District Police Administration Superintendent Sanjeev Gandhi said on Friday that on the complaint of the businessman, a case has been registered against unknown accused under sections 420,465,467,470, 471 of IPC in Sadar Police Station Shimla and investigation has been started.
