Champai Soren: Champai Soren is currently the MLA from Seraikela assembly seat from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha party.

As a cabinet minister, Champai Soren has previously held the responsibility of Transport, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Department in the Hemant Soren government.

Champai Soren has taken oath of office as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

After the resignation of Hemant Soren, Champai Soren has become the Chief Minister. Apart from Chief Minister Champai Soren, Congress party’s Alamgir Alam has taken oath as minister. Alamgir Alam is the current MLA of Congress Party from Pakur Assembly seat of Jharkhand.

70 year old Alamgir Alam has completed his graduation.

Alamgir Alam had declared his assets as ₹7.02 crore in the year 2019.

Congress leader Alamgir Alam had mainly cited income from politics and social service as his source of income in the year 2019.

RJD party leader Satyanand Bhokta has also taken oath as a minister in the Jharkhand government.

RJD party leader Satyanand Bhokta is RJD party MLA from Chatra assembly seat of Jharkhand.

Satyanand Bhokta was the Agriculture Minister of Jharkhand in the previous Jharkhand government. Also, Satyanand Bhokta was the Labor Minister in the previous Jharkhand government.

Fifty-three year old Satyanand Bhokta has completed his studies only till 10th standard.

Satyanand Bhokta had declared his assets as ₹77.58 lakh in the 2019 assembly elections.

Champai Soren is a member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. Presently Champai Soren is the sitting MLA from Seraikela Assembly seat of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha Party.

Even as a Cabinet Minister, Champai Soren has handled the responsibility of Transport, Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Department very well in the previous Hemant Soren government.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren had completed his studies only till 10th class from Ram Krishna Mission High School, Jamshedpur in the year 1974.

Champai Soren is called as ‘Jharkhand Tiger’ –

When the demand for a separate Jharkhand state from Bihar was being raised, the name of Champai Soren was most discussed.

Along with Shibu Soren, Champai Soren also participated in the movement in Jharkhand.

Only after this, the people of Jharkhand started calling Champai Soren as ‘Jharkhand Tiger’.

Champai Soren was elected MLA for the first time in the year 1991 –

Champai Soren took oath as MLA for the first time by winning the by-election in United Bihar in the year 1991.

After the resignation of KC Mardi, Champai Soren had also won the election as an independent.

Then in 1995, Champai Soren became MLA by winning the election on JMM party ticket.

Also in the year 2005, Champai Soren was nominated for Jharkhand Assembly.

After that, in the year 2009 also Champai Soren became MLA.

Champai Soren held the important responsibility of Minister of Science and Technology, Labor and Housing in the Arjun Munda government from September 2010 to January 2013.

Also, from July 2013 to December 2014, Champai Soren held the responsibility of Food and Civil Supplies, Transport Cabinet Minister.

In the year 2014, Champai Soren was once again elected to the Jharkhand Assembly.

Also in the year 2019, Champai Soren was elected MLA.

Along with this, Champai Soren was made the Minister of Transport, Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Backward Class Welfare in the previous Hemant government.

In the 2019 assembly elections, Champai Soren had declared his assets as Rs 2.55 crore.

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, caught in the illegal land scam, had resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Jharkhand on Wednesday.

During this period, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Congress alliance had elected Transport Minister Champai Soren as the leader of the legislative party in the Hemat Soren government.
