Chamba News : The Governor gave instructions to the officials to make the central schemes accessible to all the people
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla reviewed various centrally sponsored schemes in the district by holding a meeting with the officials in Chamba today. He reviewed the activities of Red Cross and Prime Minister TV Free India campaign and also took stock of the ongoing relief work after heavy rains in the district.

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla reviewed various centrally sponsored schemes in the district by holding a meeting with the officials in Chamba today. He reviewed the activities of Red Cross and Prime Minister TV Free India campaign and also took stock of the ongoing relief work after heavy rains in the district.
The Governor called upon all the officers of the district to work with the spirit of dedication from the employees and asked them to take the schemes being run by the Central Government to the masses.
He told that NITI Aayog has included Chamba in the category of aspirational district, which is a matter of concern. The governor said that Chamba can be brought out of the list of aspirational district only by extending the benefits of government schemes to all eligible people.
He stressed on preparation of a detailed report of the work on alternative plan to strengthen the road network in the district. The Governor directed the Deputy Commissioner to prepare and make available the road relation report through the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
He said that he would try to get additional funds from the Central Government on the basis of the report. The Governor informed that there are 756 Tuberculosis patients in Chamba district and 156 are Nikshay Mitras. He urged the Health Department to make more and more people Nikshay Mitras. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania was also present in the meeting.
